THE review of this famous kennel would not be complete without stressing the most important factor of its progress. It is that Miss Keyte-Perry is now restored to complete health and thus she is once again able to give her personal and keen leadership to the “ Arctics ” in their own home, and take her active share in all the interests of the breed.

This year has been a great strain on personal endurance and on the courage which is necessary to rise above the disastrous effects of an epidemic. At Haslemere the strain is at last over and the New Year is full of promise with the restoration of Miss Keyte-Perry's health and a clean bill of health in the kennels. Every “ Arctic ” of the home family can now claim to be over distemper. This is a grand asset in the possibilities of growth and exhibition, and especially with the young stock. Miss Keyte-Perry anticipates the zest of competition throughout the months of 1938 without any terrible set-back such as she has experienced this year.

Since Richmond Ch. show in July last, no member of the home kennel has been exhibited owing to the epidemic of illness. Nevertheless, during the first seven months of the year, laurels came thick and fast. It has been the greatest satisfaction to Miss Keyte-Perry that her “ Arctic ” stock, exhibited by other owners, has reaped a big proportion of the top honours of show competition.

Miss Keyte Perry is delighted to show her lovely Samoyeds in their comfortable little chalets. There are acres of land for free exercising, and each chalet is complete with a big grass run and a concrete enclosure. In fact, it is a little colony, absolutely self-contained, with kitchens, domestic quarters, kennel-maids' bedrooms and parlour, and a huge playground for the pups. Visitors are very frequent to these famous kennels, and they arc always accorded the greatest welcome by their owner, the kennel-staff, and all the friendly “ Arctics. ”
